This is an ASA Sanctioned Table Top Show!

For the first time ever, serama have been asked to show table top at an ABA/APA sanctioned show in California! Needless to say, we, the Pacific Coast Serama Club, are very excited.

Entries close for in cage judging September 21, 2012 however, we will accept table top entries up until an hour before show time. Please see the Pacific Coast Serama Club website for details and entry information, www.PacSerama.org.
We hope to see you there!
I looked Pacific Coast Serama Club up and it includes Hawaii, will join later this weekends

I control the autosomal Red in the Seramas and this was a Gift to Jacob from LAseramas.... I have been breeding this color and know how to make many in a clutch not one or two in three years like the joker I know .... But we only got pics after pics to show what we can do ... Just for sharing
he's amazing as all your birds are- will be in touch soon

My very first Serama chick! He/She is 3 days old and is looking to be a Wheaton!

I originally had two hatch, but the second was a micro, about the size of your thumb nail, and sadly didn't last the first night. I was pretty amazed to see such a tiny chick hatch. Just blows me away.

Anyway, I'm asuming this little one is out of Dove and Charles.

When you say the micro was as small as your thumb nail, do you mean the whole chick or its head or body or what? I had a teeny tiny chick hatch from an one of the first 2-3 eggs my pullet laid and its head was the size of my thumb nail. It was so tiny it was hard to even pick up.. thankfully I had a broody to raise it and it will be 4 wks old day after tomorrow. Its about the size of the one in your pic, but with hard feathers. I am not sure if it is going to be a micro or if it will eventually catch up. They are just so cute, you should take a picture every day to watch the progress. Its amazing.

When i say the size of my thumb nail i mean the whole chick. It was about from the first knuckle up in height. It was just so tiny I couldn't believe it. It was pretty lethargic when it hatched and it never really gained any strength. Poor thing.

The other seems to be about average Serama chick sized and is very lonely and super friendly. I'm very excited for this batch of chicks, as it also contains my very first Dominique chicks from my trio. I'm afraid to put the little serama in with the Doms, though, so it gets to stay in the brooder alone for now.

Well I am some 300 posts behind. there is NO WAY to get caught up. Sorry.
Hi Froggie: See you are on here. Bumble is still a horrible spoiled rotten brat. She is worse than my 4 ankle biters (dogs).

Okay, I have some 40 serama babies (all different ages) that I need to pick from to narrow them down to my breeding trios (maybe quads?). Are 3 hens too much for 1 roo?

Fortunately, for everyone...I will most likely keep all through the winter and let them grow up. I will make any final decisions in the spring. I am getting ready to divide boys and girls into large grow out pens. What do you think of this?

Unfortunately I have almost equal boys/girls. So I will be able to keep approximately 6 roos and then however many ladies I can have for them. There will be miscellaneous pens for singles.
