I love my frizzle.

Actually, I love all of them, lol. They are all different, and special.

awwww!

I have a question and it may be silly but im new to all this. Has anyone received any eggs from other breeders? How would I find a reliable person with good birds? Just wondering if it is a good thing and reliable way for new birds to mix in?

I got eggs from Bhep. They arrived in great shape, and I had 9/12 develop. I had an accident with the bator and lost most of the eggs, but my little colorful roo and the dark brown chick are from her eggs.

JulieNKC, I'm hoping bhep will send me eggs for the NYD hatch, and she has frizzles, also, a young lady near me might have eggs as well, and she has a frizzle roo, I'm hoping I can get a good hatch out of both of them??!! I'm making some adjustments to the water holder for my incubator and hopefully it'll hold up a more stable humidity.

I also got 3 of mine from Laura, and one from a lady in Louisiana off ebay. If she is part of this community, I don't know her name? It's difficult to hatch when they come from far away! My coop should be able to hold a lot of birds, and I'm worried 4 of these little ones won't be enough to keep warm in winter time. But maybe, after they're 8 weeks old or so, and there are many of them, they'll be able to go outside. Our winters are mild, but it's already down to 40 degrees at night, and will get down as low as 28 degrees sometimes. So I shall see what I can do :)
