Hey everone! I have recently gotten my first Seramas and just love them. I have really enjoyed learning from all your posts and wanted to introduce myself. I only have 3 hens and 2 roosters now but one of my hens "PennyL started setting yesterday so maybe mid December I will have my birst batch of babies. Hope to hear from you and thanks for all your great info.

I'm there, Sally, even if I shouldn't be, LOL (sick of having chicks in the house!!! But the Seramas aren't going outside this winter, I don't think... not sure...

My little black serama is definitely a boy. He's always chest butting with Harriet. It's so funny the way he flies over her head or runs between her legs to get away from her pecks, LOL. She isn't hurting him, the pecks are more of a touché, and "I'm still the boss" LOL

Already signed up. My spare bedroom has 5 full brooders in it now. Thankfully 2 of them are 8 weeks and will be going outside to their new tractor this week. I have 6 sets of eggs in the bator now and I still haven't decided what kind of eggs I am going to set...LOL.

I'm in. No serama eggs, but I'm setting a few call duck eggs and eggs from my mottled japanese. Also getting shipped japanese eggs, but those will get set when they get here, so they might be a little early for the hatchalong. I'm patiently trying to sit on my hands and keep the incubator empty until then.

But I'm really glad my black bird turned out to be a boy. Still, it'd be nice to have other roosters, they're so pretty, need more colors! If I can get a frizzle, I'd be totally ecstatic!
