Very cute and pretty colors :) Your rooster needs to learn to stand more at attention (like a soldier) then he'd look great! He has good wing carriage. Your hen needs to stand similarly. But the hens don't seem to do the extreme like the roos do. Having said that, I don't have any show quality myself, LOL, but I love them too! I think yours are very handsome! Oh, and beyond that, I don't know much about show Quality, so I'm not trying to be a smart *** As I understand it, they're usually trained to stand up at attention, and I try to pet their chest to see if I can get mine to stand straighter, but I really don't know the techniques well???

Oh wow, I guess you need lush grass to train your Seramas! LOL. Look how GREEN! Your boy is gorgeous and your hen looks pretty there too! They are Wheaten, right?

I'm very happy tonight, I just candled again (yes ... again) and I think I have 4 eggs developing!

I sure hope it's so! Some of these eggs are very opaque, but tonight, I'm pretty sure I see vein lines in another one. There is one that I can see very well through, and I can see it wiggling in there already

I think they're developing at different paces as well. I might have had cold spots in the 'bator?? the first few days, though I don't know why I had trouble, I had the thing running more than a week before setting!

Anyway, I'm happy, 4 would be uber awesome

Thank you kukupecpec, good to know getting the smaller wheel probably won't work too well.

Yaaay, congratulations!

I couldn't keep my hands off my eggs last night. It was so nice and dark, so I candled again and found another egg that is developing! So I now have 3 eggs developing and am very happy! See? It's worth letting them sit in the incubator for a while longer even if you think they're not developing!

Chances have now become extremely slim, however I will keep the eggs in there until day 7, Monday night. I am worried I see spots on a couple and don't want them rotting in there, LOL. They're red spots, so at the same time I'm hoping they develop, but they won't, I know they're dead........

I would leave them in there until at least day 10. Then for sure you will know which are growing and which aren't. I have read stories where people didn't see anything on day 7 and then low and behold there was something there at day 10.

Thats a really good idea, but room is so extrememly limited I don't know that I could fit them all in there like that. If I did, do you turn your eggs when they are like that? how does that work?
You would just place something(book or piece of wood) under one side of the incubator to tilt it and then every couple of hours switch sides. That way you wouldn't have to open the bator to turn by hand
