How much sugar do I need to put in a quart waterer?right off, i'd say get some sugar in the water, will give her some energy- i know others should be able to help too
I will try that. Her brooder is very warm. She starts to seem a little better than just will flip over on her back and act like she is having a seizure. A very strange case...Try mixing honey or Sav-a-chik in the water. I have more experience with ducklings than chicks. Hopefully someone with lots of chick experience will chime in. Until then, I would just make sure she's warm enough and offer drinks of the doctored water periodically.
Hi just a question how do you tell the difference between a oegb hen and a serama I bought 2 hens at a chicken show without asking the breed one looks like a serema but doesnt hold herself like one but the other looks like an oegb in my opinion im new to this and holds herself like a serema they werent from the same breeder so idk ill post some pix tomorrow
Generally speaking the OEGB will have a much longer back and white legs. Once we see the pics then will be able to tell more...Check out pictures of both breeds right here on BYC....you will have your answer..LOL
Quote: i think it depends- with alot of handling they can be, but they also are very independant, and are talkers... mine talk about everything!
Quote: hold her and talk to her when that happens- i do have an issue with one of my roos that has seizures, so maybe if you can be a mama and touch therapy as well as nutritional
