American serama thread!

My Serama eggs are coming tomorrow! I probably won't put them in the bator until Friday night though to allow the air cells to settle and to get my bator all cleaned out.

Remember those two black and white peeps I posted a few weeks back? They are indeed, feathering out pretty close to their down pattern. :D Here are Raine and London, almost 4 weeks old now

LOLS nice to hear about american serama, but still, american serama has its originate location which is from Malaysia :)...im from Malaysia and Serama chicken are sell at the price of 700 lowest 1200 highest, they are raise to for Tournament, the bigger their chest expand the higher the score, and their chicks are sold at 300 or 250...soo expensive, wish could get one with the normal chicks price..Seram in Malaysia has Grade to A,B,C etc...depend how big they expand their chest..:)

Most interesting reading cosmo, please can you share more about the Maylasian serama for us? I would like to know.

Well, There are many reputable breeders of pet quality to show quality seramas out on the East coast. Start prowling this forum for them. I do not want to endose OR forget anyone so you will have ato let your finger do the walking. You can also check out American Serama Association for breeders. Hope that helps. Hatching eggs from SHIPPED eggs [as SO many here know] is a real crap shoot. in the dark. So just be forewarned. LOL

Ok, thanks for letting me know.
I think i'm going to wait. From the research i've done, it seems like they're more pets. I would love a few and i'd love to breed them but having chickens in the house is something my husband will have to warm up to. LOL
