Cluck-cluck, brook havens, and larps1234- I noticed one of the hens squatted when I was petting her for the first time last night, so hopefully she'll lay an egg soon! The reason I thought they would lay sooner is that they don't look like their polish dad AT ALL. The only thing they got was that all of them are frizzled. I think it is highly unlikely that they are hiding the eggs somewhere, since I have to watch them while they are free ranging, because anytime I leave a chicken for more than about an hour something gets them, I've lost probably half of my past chickens this way, which is extremely frustrating that we have so many predators in the area. I'm suspecting they are usually birds. Also often I go away on the weekends and they don't get let out for a few days.
I'm suspecting it is probably the light, since just in the last week I've noticed a lot more sun.
Thanks guys for your help and hopefully I'll get some eggs soon! I just got an incubator so I want to be able to incubate them and get more serama-polish babies!
