Got a new Serama hen today. She's super friendly, I've only had her for a few hours and she eats mealworms out of my hands. My rooster is strutting up a storm trying to impress her.

What do you guys incubate your serama eggs at? I talked to Laura of Castle Delight Seramas and she said 55% days 1-18 and 75% for lockdown has worked for her so far.

get serama eggs from charlie trevino... he has the best eggs! he lives in Seatle, Wa so the travel to you wont take a toll on the eggs, im sure he can even ship you some adult seramas. i live in Miami, Fl and have 10 of charlies eggs in my incubator on day 15. his eggs are always 90 - 100% fertile, and some of his birds carry the silkied gene. if you order like 16 eggs then you are bound to get 1-5 silkied to hatch. with charlies eggs i have in the incubator right no my temp is 102 deg *F an humidity between 35- 60 %. although at hatching you want it at 70 -75%. my pullet i hatched from charlies egg is beautiful and super sweet (the one in my profile picture) and she started laying eggs at 4 month old! give charlie and email [email protected] and tell him john sent you so he knows your from BYC. let him know that you live in Washington and he will tell you all the live hens, roos, chicks, and other pets and eggs he has for sale. you cant go wrong with charlie!

oh i forgot to add all ten eggs in the incubator are fertile and developing beautifully! i love charlies eggs because the chicks you hatch will be between class A and class C. this way you can keep the class you want for the size eggs you want to get from your seramas. and incubating the is no different from regular LF eggs. charlies eggs have super strong shells! i only broke on of his serama eggs when it fell on the floor :( and if the temp is right ( between 100 - 102 deg) they will most likley hatch on day 20.
