American serama thread!

I am new to seramas but I have raised bantam wyandottes for a while now. My question to the serama experts is, if I were to want to get started in seramas, how many birds should I start with? I am not looking to show them or become a breeder I would just be getting them for fun. Would a trio be a good start, and with the diversity of colors out there are there certain colors that will throw a better variety of colors than others? Thanks
Get ready to be addicted!!!!! I have some babies when you get ready. And welcome!!

Really looking for a pair or trio located in central california, Merced specifically, looking for rather a younger trio or pair about a month old
