American serama thread!

Here is a picture of that snake and my husband. this was before it was dead!! It is not full length in this pucture. Straight, it was almost as tall as my husband.

It had a blue andalusian mix (sp) in it that was probabley 2 months old maybe younger.

Here is my first frizzled chick at 10 days of age. I hope you can see that he is orangey colored right now. He is from my newest birds, the roosters were originally hatched by Juliette but came to me from a third party.

Here is dad but I do not know which of the 2 hens are the mom. What do you think? These are 3 birds I got from Jerry and this is my first bator hatch and first serama hatch. There is only one more egg that is viable in the bator but it was put in a few days later.

It has eaten about 10 chicks to date and tried to eat older chickens, 3 months and older and then realized they were to big after they were already dead. There are 100s of snakes here to eat the mice, we live in the SW desert. If we find them and they are not in the coop we catch them and let them go. We have relocated 4 hog nose snakes, but once you have killed my chickens your done!

I should be able to imprint that image into my brain I think... I guess we haven't met yet cause I think I would remember. lol I have no clue what I will be wearing, I'm short, long hair, a lil pregnant

yeah, i'm pretty loud... gonna be on the look out for canaries or exotic finches... maybe green singer finch... that'll rock... is there a lot of chicken stuff available at these... i usually only go to reptile expos...

those are my riding colors too... but i ride a road bicycle... LOL... my fuji race kit is black white and red... but when i ride with friends, i have a reece's pieces peanut butter cup jersey on... my favorite chocolate i can't eat ever again...

congrats on the hatch im glad it worked out..... as for the snake only onee i let live around my house is the king snake..... they do lots of good around here..... plus my pen as of so far in intuder proof
