ok sooo im off to bed.....my poor bones are tired of carrying my fat @$$..... night folks

and i was outside moving all the birds around... tomorrow i wash the OEGB and take pics and stuff... i'll wash the serama too and take pics... it was 80-something but felt like 90-something... hot day... very humid...

how is the lil 4 week old....is it looking male or female.... you havent posted any new pics

The second "dark" chick is tiny, smaller by far than some other Serama chicks that are younger, and this one hasn't had any competition. Its just chick and mama. The other Serama chicks (that I'm babysitting) are younger, and bigger, have been in the brooder, with no mama.

My first "dark" chick is still much smaller, but her big brothers take good care of her. I'm pretty sure its a "her".

I know Serama genetics aren't simple. I'm just observing, and noting differences, and similarities. Its interesting to me.

The whole "prediction" thing is intriguing.

Just my luck.

Tomorrow I'll be dealing with my landlord and plumbing problems. Hopefully she won't notice my chicken math..

He spotted one in the garden when we were calling in our cat for the night. I told him he could only Shoo him, but apparently the added a 't' to my request, and is now manned with a BB gun. I gotta go call him in, and tell him no pulling the trigger.
