Were you hatching with an incubator or broody hen? In the Spring I won 14 eggs in an auction. When they arrived 1 egg had a crack. I set the 13 remaining eggs in a Little Giant still air incubator that I had added a fan to. I did not use my egg turner fearing that the jolt the eggs would receive when turned would damage them on the inside. I put an X on one side pf the eggs and an O on the other. I turned the eggs over about 4 times a day. Out of the 13, 3 didn't develop the remaining 10 hatched. I couldn't believe it I mean one of the eggs was smaller than the end of my thumb.I have to and set a few eggs 6 of 7 show no growth and i know their fertile and 1 showed growth then a blood ring. What's going on?
x2 I have saner incubator and my two hatched but lost 2 standard .Serama eggs can be super hard in my experience. I've found that using a high quality incubator makes all the difference. I used Brinsea and R-com and get almost 100% hatch rate.
She is So ADORABLE!!
