I was wondering if anyone could tell me what color these two chicks may be considered ? They are my new favorite love bugs! I got them in a assorted batch I incubated . Luckily they both hatched! I don't know much about this breed. They are still inside with me. Any information or if anyone knows a good book or sight about this breed I would love to read!

Thank you! I appreciate your reply. I understand there are many colors ?! Patches th cockerel is super sweet but small! Peanut doesn't take any stuff from him! She's a bit bigger. Can anyone tell me if they keep there's inside or out? From what I understand they are very sensitive? Not sure if this is true. Please anyone correct me or throw some tips in.Im not an expert but the brownish one looks wheaton maybe? I don't know the boy- brown mottled maybe. Looks like a cockerel and a pullet!

Hi @prizepete !@Scovy Momma I haven't seen you around... you still there? Hows your serama singleton?
Perfect! I'm in Modesto but grew up in sac. We have a very thick hefty coop for the bantams. I wanted to add to it this next weekend. Watching these two I feel they need more room to fly then scratch the ground. Some more roosts as well to escape my spoiled Mille Fluer D' Uccle!!! She's the most spoiled hen in my flock and will not stand down to any standard breed. I'm a bit worried to introduce them. I have been keeping them in a cage next to the bantam coop during the warm weather. I have not let them adapt to the cold or moisture. My other girls are getting fowl pox or something not sure? with all this moisture in the air. So does yours do good outside? Do you ever bring them in ? Thank you very much! They are so tiny !! Makes me worry!it depends on how cold it gets where you live, I live near sacramento and it doesn't get very cold here so they are fine outside. It also depends on your coop
Hi @prizepete !
Yep, still here. I have been in bed for a week. I was stung by a bee on Halloween & apparently I'm allergic.I tried to log in on my phone but it wasn't cooperating.![]()

The singleton is doing well, thanks! She's a load of fun & so darn cute! How's yours doing?
I have had mixed results with outdoor seramas. I had an amazing show quality trio and left them in one of my out door coops and they passed within a week. However I also had another trio that was out door and they survived perfectly fine. All of my indoor birds do well. I have not had a single chicken die indoors. However if you have raised them indoors then I would keep them indoors because thats what their used to.Perfect! I'm in Modesto but grew up in sac. We have a very thick hefty coop for the bantams.
