American serama thread!

Oh yeah. I've got some gorgeous pairs I'll be selling this Spring.
Springtime, I always have more buyers than birds.
I charge between $100 and $150 apiece for my best birds.
I don't follow the same standard everyone else does. I'm doing something different.

I have a white legged Silkied Roo I can let go for $10 if anyone is near Ocala, FL.
I just tried to pair him with a smooth hen but he's way too small, she attacked!

The Roo is part of a generation of 8 birds from two hens that are 3 months old tomorrow.
Every single bird turned out to be a Roo!

The group also contains 2 smooth-feathered Roos who anyone nearby can have for free.
I don't know how well they'll fit the standard that others use.
They look good but I breed for the Ball body type.
It is a type raised in Malaysia but I understand that Malaysians don't raise Silkied Serama.

I am in CA....Do you ship birds? Do you sell eggs?

Ive always heard they will hatch early. Mine always hatch on day 19. Be preared for an early hatch even though that may not happen. I have to watch tge humidity since there's eggs that arent gonna hatch this time ive got it up around 70% right now though (thats about what its been all the way through though) ive never hatched like this in general normally i let broodies do it but my serama hen wants nothing to do with brooding (she also laid me another egg today)

Fluff's first clutch
A beautiful hen; really gorgeous. I wish... This is a young rooster I have been holding on to. I have not used him for breeding, but am considering it. I would like to know your thoughts on this roo. For a chicken he is quite smart and very docile; a great personality that would be great to pass on. I am raising serama for fun and not show. Still, I want to raise the best birds I can. Someday I might change my mind about showing...
