Awesome, thanks! Are they very expensive?
I recently shipped 2 dozen eggs to FL. Priority for 3 lbs was $16. One dozen should be under 3 lbs. I use the large priority box filled with peanuts. I wrap each egg in strips of paper towel, then strips of bubble wrap and put them in an egg carton in the middle of the packing peanuts.
I never shipped eggs before but I've heard that plastic can possibly smother them.
I already put yours in the mailbox and they were picked up 10 minutes later.
I lined a styrofoam egg cartons with layers of paper towels, put the eggs in and covered them with more.
I cut a triangular shaped priority box down to the length of the egg carton.
I'm hoping that they're less likely to crush those boxes because they can't stack them.
Crummy news everyone.
The Post Office is raising rates in 2 days.
About a 10% raise for Priority and 15% for Express.

Midget was 7.5 ounces last week and 7.5 ounces this week-11 weeks old. Some, not all, of my first serama hens stopped growing at 12 weeks old. It will be interesting, for me, to see how this pullet develops. From the growth I'm seeing in my new chicks, I may have four more Midget's size or smaller yet.
Wow! He is drop dead gorgeous!! Love his color! I think he will figure it out lolTook photos of my sweet boy Chip out in the sunshine today. He was the first serama for me, the only chick to hatch so he thinks he's a little human. Which is fun and all, he follows me around all day long and loves me and my husband, but it has downsides.. like him not knowing the first thing about breeding.![]()
