I'm sure I've contacted almost all of you guys at some point now LOL
I'm looking for fertile serama eggs to be shipped to or for local pickup near the Silicon Valley, in northern California (SF Bay Area).
I'm primarily searching for breeders with frizzled and silkied seramas in their breeding stock, so that I have a chance to hatch something besides straight feathered seramas. Good body type is pretty important to me, as well as color variety.
I'm aware of the difficulties of hatching shipped serama eggs, but I accept any challenge and am not afraid of disappointment!
My first incubation experience was with shipped serama eggs, and I was fairly successful (4 hatched/17 eggs is awfully low, but for my first time incubating, with a bunch of them having detached air cells, and that they were shipped serama eggs, I think it was a success).
Edit: Oops, I got 14, not 17 eggs. Don't know where that 17 number came from! I got 14 eggs, 6 with detached air cells, 7 developing, 4 hatching. 4/14 is a bit better hatch rate than out of 17
Thank you all for your time! I hope to be more active on this thread in the future when I have more seramas
