Those quills look like blood feathers. Be careful they are not broken.

Poor, poor bird. It just ticks me off when people do not take care of what God has given them. With you she has a chance.

I know it makes me so mad too. She is in good spirits and loves to to eat and has learned what meal worms are lol! And she has quiet trying to attack me every time I try and catch her!!!! I think she is much happier and happiness goes a long way toward healing! So we are on the right path!

I am glad that you managed to get her. Some owners really don't care about what happens to the birds that they have. I can't wait to see her improve!

I did some research on feather fixer...
It has wonderful reveiws! Ibthinkbill give this a try in a week or two when she gets a little healthier. Only place I can find around me is TSC. I'll be making a trip soon!

If you're looking for pet quality Serama, there's a page on FB - Pet Serama Marketplace, and someone there is planning to sell day old chicks that are hatching on March 20th! $10 per chick, plus shipping, minimum 6 chicks. $8 ea if you buy 10+. If you're looking for higher quality, there is Serama Marketplace, but you will pay a lot more, and they usually don't ship day old chicks. It's pretty hard to find people shipping day olds, because they're so tiny and maybe more fragile? You can get hatching eggs at either of those pages too.

Then there are hatching eggs at My Pet Chicken, 6 for $35.95. Those ones will be 50/50 chance of being frizzled!

Porcupine update:
She is still acting very good and I have new feathers coming in! Look close you can see them! But her color is up and down, she is more yellow today...???
But at least we have feathers starting to grow!
