American serama thread!

I just found a person on Craigslist who breeds seramas a few weeks ago, they are so cute and neat. I took two home and they were super skiddish at first, but they are coming around.
Currently I am working on getting them integrated in with my two bigger girls... Anyone have much experience with this? I couldn't find much info around when I looked. I'm just taking things very slow and keeping a close eye on everybody. So far, the two little seramas seem very happy to be living a life out of a cage.

I haven't specifically integrated seramas with larger birds (I choose to keep mine separate since they need supplemental heat in the winter), but I've integrated silkies/cochins/etc with large fowl. In my experience it goes ok as long as they have a lot of area. I let mine free range together in the backyard for a few weeks before I coop them together.

Since I can Not Edit,: Update : I've found a Great Serama's Raiser on FB, one Pullet was left as of Friday ♥ here my Xpanded group. 1st found a Pair @ Coal Creek Auction Chehalis, a few weeks ago ♥ Then Found the sweetest trio off Facebook.

Hello,

Just got a few little seramas, which will be moving from MO to FL soon with us, so they will have warm weather all year :ya. I'm wondering about one of them. It is much smaller compared to its Hatch mates. Could this be a micro-sized bird?

The bird beside it is one of my medium-sized pullets. They are around 6 weeks old.

Thanks for any input

Pretty babies!! :love
I've hatched ranges of sizes. Larger birds can still produce smaller chicks and small birds can produce large chicks. I think they tend to stay consistent with the parents size, but the odd ones are not uncommon.

Hello.
I take care of my landords seramas and all has been well for the last 4 yrs. Today I went out and my favorite roo was sitting by the water dish staring into space. When he tried to walk he was wobbly. I got him some electrolyte and probiotic water, which I gave him by syringe. I also gave him alittle vit E. I have no idea what else to do for him! His color is great and he was totally normal yesterday. It looks like he had alittle diarrhea. What else can I do for him??? Help!
