American serama thread!

Got my first Serama hoping for a pair. Getting a dozen hatching eggs in April ..
Here they are.. Smudge and Smidge

What do you think I have? Male or female please be both. .age 2-3 weeks old

It's hard yo tell at this point. I think you might have a pair, but it's a little too early. Can you post pictures of them standing naturally from the side?

This baby was #3 under a broody. The other 2 hatched and she got off this egg. When I brought it inside, very cooled, I candled and it was internally pipped. I made a safe hole and gave it back to momma. She left it again, so I assumed it quit. Brought inside again, still moving. Removed the cap, and it kicked out within an hour. I think momma was just tired of waiting because the other 2 hatched a couple days ago. I gave it back to her.

Still too early for me to be comfortably sure, but I'd wager on Smidge being female, Smudge being male.

I'm hoping... They are so friendly! They hop on my finger take treats ect.
I'm getting a dozen hatching eggs in April from a breeder near here.. .we'll see what happens there.

How do you table top train seramas?

I know this is the American Serama thread, but Traditionals and Americans are the same besides hiw they're shown.

Mine are 26 and 28 weeks old (6 months) and I haven't worked with them on the table at all. I've tried to pose them but they squat back down almost immedietly
