Me and the crazy azz horse will be going to World Championships in Perry, Ga the last week of October. Will be webcast too.

They have what they call "trick or trot" and it's basically a halloween costume contest for horse and rider. I'm still trying to think up something creative that won't cost a fortune or totally freak my horse out!


PI horse (project idiot) runs top of the 3D. We placed 6th in the 3D at Dixie Nationals a few yearsa go. I was working out of state 2009 and most of 2010 and just came home in Sept. He is wayyyy out of shape. So we run 16.1 or so where the arena record is 14.6. but last weekend the winning time was 15.1 He's not the fastest, but he's very consistent and I am afraid to sell him because he takes very special handling with kid gloves. But he works good for ME, after I did almost a year of rehabbing his fried brain.

My mare is running bottom of the 2D, top of the 3D right now but is still kinda green and not finished. Plus I just started riding her when I got home, and don't really ride during the week much.

Divisions go as such....

All the horses run. Fastest time wins the 1st division and then they pay our a certain number of places in that division.
1/2 second off that time wins the 2nd division
1 full second off of the winning time wins the 3rd Division
2 full seconds off winning time wins 4th division

The divisional races give people that can't afford $699586995669 horses to win money also.

OH, my daughter can NOT rid PI horse. He goes NUTS and spins and spins and spins...LOL, freaks him and her out! She refuses to even warm him up or cool him down for me.

Froggie, we call my mare WitchyPoo. She is.......well, witchy!!! LOL, but I love her. She has attitude and is another one my daughter can't get along with. We bought her for my daughter, but she's MINE now and ohhhh, if I can ever really get with her she is much faster than PI horse.

I see that the speed times are still about what they were 25 years ago. But 14.6 is WHOA....I like the part about Divisional races so that us regular folks [no big $$$$$] can still compete and have fun......The show world can be SO jaded if you can't afford the trainer/$$ horse etc.. Run yer butt off girl!
