I got my first Seramas two weeks ago. I have not yet weighed them, but they are tiny. I was told not to pick out the smallest ones by the breeder because they are often infertile. These were the largest ones he had. He had a rooster that was half the size of the one I got, but I did not want to risk him being infertile. He was a brother to mine. What color are these considered? He had no idea....lol. I guess I can't complain, he gave them to me for free. I had just helped him sell about 15 of his Black Australorps.

I have no clue what color you would call them, but they are pretty. I notice the rooster's comb is a little dark. Is that from stress? I know some birds relocate easier than others. I will be getting my first seramas in about a month, and I am pretty excited. I'm in the process of building some pens for them right now.
