Hi everyone, I just got my first serama (silkie) last month as an egg and he hatched the second day of September. (had a lot of problems with the incubator he was the only one who hatched)

Though he's only three weeks old, I say "he" because when ever he's scared, he puffs up his chest and flies at what evers scaring him and tries to kick, it's cute. He's such a cute little thing. But I'm trying to get him some company (other Seramas) and I'm having a hard time finding people who are selling them, whether, eggs, chicks or full grown. So anyone have any sugestions?

I'd love to have some coaching too. I haven't got me feet wet showing yet. Just attending the shows is exciting. I can't wait to get into showing them.

I know now why the chocolate breeders get frustrated with the roosters. The only chocolate cockerel I have so far is a gorgeous chocolate.....with red leaking and he's still a baby,

Here he is (no name yet) his down was so dark it almost looked black but next to my black chicks, it was obvious.

Here are a couple of my chocolate pullets. I have a couple others I'm not sure are chocolate yet, they're super dark if they are.

I'm really looking forward to these chicks maturing.

It's finalized! I've got a beautiful cockerel!

I just have to set up a time to go and get him from the breeder

I have a feeling he's pet quality, but I'm not picky... I think he's gorgeous

Jerry will sell you birds, not eggs. His egg auction was a for a special occasion.

Yeah, he rarely sells eggs but might if you can con him! LOL. Very few breeders sell eggs, myself included. I am thinking about maybe donating some for the raffle table at the November Golden State Serama Extravagenza.
