THAT is one sweet set-up...Can I move in?????

My birds have lots of elbow room in coop & run too, Cages are for breeding or hospital or "jail" as far as I am concerned.

I always use cages for my breeders. Isolating my breeding pairs allows for accurate record keeping as I know which egg is which. Living in the city has it's challenges but Serama are very forgiving. If you have the room, let'em run! No need to spend more money to give them less space. Sounds like you have som lucky birds.

I had egg problems and I think the egg had broken inside of her. I gave her Chick Saver for the electrolytes and vitamins as she was not eating or drinking. Gave it to her with an eyedropper and the next morning she was bright as a new penny. I was amazed. I think that stuff helps them whatever their problems are. It just gives them a boost so they can recover. I am never with out it!

sorry, I don't remember what I paid as I got a bunch a while back when I started hatching. I don't actually use it every time i hatch, I only use it for trouble. I just put the little bit of sugar in the new chicks water. I change water so much that it is easier to just add a little of the sugar. I may go to TSC this afternoon and if I remember, I will check on the price.

Nutri-drench is really good too. $6.99 a bottle. I just came home from TS. I think the packs of chick saver are around $1.99.

i would call her a micro she is probley about 6 to 8 oz . she went broodie on air so i gave her one little egg to hatch so i can't put her on the scale right now . it should hatch tomarrow on my b-day she has no feathers on her head or neck just the way she is kind of homely looking but i still love her but she needs to go to a warmer place to cold for her here !
