You all are making me miss those little fuzzies!! Mine are all in the "growing out" stage, 3-4 months, when they look all gawky, like we did in 6th-8th grade. LOL. I might have to rent out my brooder for the winter, just to get my "fix". LOL.
My next pair won't be ready for breeding until after the New Year, by my best guesses.
My original pair is still producing eggs, but I've got the green leg gene in there from mama, and I'm not sure that I want to keep that going, unless their babies turn out really awesome. I could put the cockerel with another pullet, as he's yellow, and not hiding green, but nobody else is laying yet.
