American serama thread!

Be sure to post on the "Want to BUY" thread too and maybe on your STate thread.
That way you might find someone close to you with what you want.

There are Seramas for sale in the auction thread right now, most would have to be shipped though.

I originally put Baby in a trio and despite being the smallest, she was the first one in the food dish every time. I later added a younger chick to the group and the other 2 birds pecked at it but Baby was gentle and loving to the newborn chick so I paired them up, even though the chick is a smooth-feathered Serama because I doubt that Baby is ever going to be large enough to breed.

She's got the full Ball body type. She looks like a tennis ball that needs a haircut.
She's just an amazing little novelty. I've also been calling her Snowflake.

She looks like a Snow Flake. Good name. My little lucky is preening my long hair at this moment on my shoulder and quietly chirping soft little noises. I think he is happy. I really have no one to put him with right now but I really think he is doing fine with us in the house . There is always a lot of stimulation around him because I have 6 dogs and his cage is right under the TV. He is out of his cage several hrs. a day with me. We found him on the floor one morning. He had gotten out of the cage (which I have not reinforced), and the dogs did not harm him but I do not want to take any chances. He could make a nice squeak toy!
