American serama thread!

WOW And I thought 15 was alot! So will these be up for sale eventually?

I Kept most of my serama think I got rid of a couple pairs to friends but I should have some in the spring I normally let them grow out and decide what to keep what to sale and what to cull ( send to pet homes)

Well pamperedpoultry all I can say about 275 FUZZY-BUTTs at one time..........YIKES!

Bet they ate you out of house and home...huh? on the other hand you could have just scooped 'em up by the handfulls for playing with...THAT part I could handle...

From what I know the chocolate gene in serama is a sexlinked recessive, if your rooster is a pure chocolate then all female offsprings are pure for chocolate and the male offsprings will be a carrier of the gene. On the side note, I read some where that chocolate sexlinked recessive gene in serama is conform but no conformation on the dun gene in serama. joy is dead on for chocolate and that is probably one of the best explanations of it ive seen..... dun i know is all over the place in serama and it willl mimic chocolate at times

Dang, 275 chickens......that is alot!!!

But if you have room to house them its all good....I wish I can hatched that many so I can have better selection for my flock improvement.

The spray bottle always work in break up fights in my serama flock, you should try it!!!

the way you breed joey you don't need that many bro you produce nice birds in your breeding program just keep doing whay your doing it works bro .
