American serama thread!

O you know me joey always got to have something going on i have quit a few projects i'm getting ready to start jp i have my malay projcet going and im breeding some blues and some wheatens working on cocopops and some real nice mottleds and still working on the milles and i might work on blacks and some whites if i ever find a bird like little b i did get one egg to hatch from him and my laced wheaten looks like it will be a kepper for sure !

Yeah the majority of my hens are the millie... I hatched a millie, frizzled ( a tiny A but also not fertile, I've yet to hatch a frizzle) and my best roo (all tho a tad on the larger side (c) ) from bluegrass... most of my hens i hatch with an odd ball here and there are the millie and whites

I hatched 3 white hens from your eggs last winter and of course, my Zephyr

Thanks!! I had 2 hens and I lost one pretty sure she was egg bound.. she was picture perfect too

Another one from Sigi (she wrote the serama color book) http://www.the-coop.org/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=91434&page=1 I would of dig deeper in the research on genetics if I want to take on a color project. As you know, serama is a genetic stew, you will have to untangle it one at a time.

For instance, I was wrong on the genetic make up of my double laced cocopop silver duckwing many times before I realize what they really are after test mated all my breeders. Don't get me wrong, I am just trying to help you and which ever way you want to go about is up to you.....

no worries joey ill read both..... any info is helpful.... but my chocolate project is on back burner for now...i may start it again once o know more about it
