American serama thread!

Oh wow. i keep mine in the house around 70 to 75 till about 3 to 4 months. But my survival rate is really good now. i do alot of cleaning bedding and water and food . But so worth it.

Mine are 7 weeks and they still have a heat lamp and they are inside the house. I usually keep a light on them till about 8-10 weeks, of course they scream like they are dying when I turn it off lol but I still do
 
sorry joey was spur of the moment thing....one day you chaili and cara sue and who ever else should come over ....not till much cooler and then we can go there....he has so many birds i was drooling everywhere

Agreed. All the Seramas I keep stay inside permanently and any that are adopted by other people I make sure they have all the information they need on how to raise and take care of them. I'm pretty picky...they have to undergo a lot to get one of my birds

horrible pictures i know... i'm kind of mad because we are trying to get pullets from the pair... but they keep shooting us cockerels... the cockerels are gorgeous, but i don't want any of they... there is also a black, but i think my friend is going to hold him back for a while... he looks very promising...

It's true...it's the most awful scream you've ever heard and it's usually followed by pitiful crying all night long. It kills me but you have to cut the apron strings sometime! (or power cord in this case) lol

i have caras working bator so sure ill volunteer....pm me and we can work details out....

and i dont think its the bator lol i think its been the feed....i talked to several old time game bird conisuers(bad spelling) all suggested feed and so did egg embryology institute. hopefully things will start looking up
