American serama thread!

Hi everyone, i am back after being stunned by the loss of my Joe- apparently like the others i have lost, a heart condition- very discouraging, i got him the same time i got Boaz, June had taken me back to pick out a cockerel and he hopped right out of the cage like he chose to go home with us- i knew he wasn't doing good and spend saturday holding him hoping he'd pull through- i know you guys know what thats like!

I am always thankful for June giving him to me and showing me how wonderful they are-

this year has been rough on losing birds, but this one was the hardest- he'd follow me around the house, so i moved ebony and jet into the livingroom which helps some- he was an awesome friend- thank you all- i consisdered just not getting anymore seramas, i have josie, joes lady and the brood she is raising, and boaz and ginger- and ebony and jet- but then i got to wondering how to breed healthier seramas that won't have heart issues...

gardeningmama- its like trying to post from my smart phone, silly spell check won't accept 'roo' so i have to watch those spell checks
