I would put him back in the bator and let him rest. Because he did not hatch himself the feet did not "work out" pushing him around the inside of the shell while he was zipping. Walking on the hardware cloth in the bator seems to help the toes uncurl if there is not a problem with them.

What do y'all this of this ? I can get it any size I want this is 30inches by 60 inches and I was thinking 30 inches high.

My other option is an extra large dog crate. I looked at some indoor aviaries and large bird cages and I dont have the room for some of them especially if I have to get more than one and the prices are astronomical! At least with the dog crate and the guinea pig cages, I could stack them if I got more "family" groups.

At least with the dog crate and the guinea pig cages, I could stack them if I got more "family" groups.

i have my babies in the large rabbit cage, they run about $40 for a 36inch square, by about 15 inches- not my preference, but the cost is right- for now i have them stacked in the kitchen-



guinea pig cages would work too, and be less mess

K9Flier, I really like that cage! Especially the tray in the bottom, though I'd probably still put cardboard on the sides to make it higher. If it were on the ground and you could open it from above, it seems like it would be an easy way to access the birds? Where do you find those modular cages, and how expensive are they????

This is the link for the cages. The grids are 15 inches square. The cage will cost less if I go with 15 inches high but I don't know that that's high enough. A 2x3 grid covered cage is $82. The one I sent the picture of is $102. A lot of money so I don't want to buy the wrong thing.

I like the length and the width. What do you think the height should be?

height wise, they don't need a whole lot, what about those extension panels you can get, and cover the top with poultry netting??
