What cuties. It will be neat to see if they end up feathering out the same colors as they have the same markings now. CONGRATS!!!

Thanks! I would love it if they stayed this color. I'm thinking they'll be Exchequer like Daddy though. That is what I was hoping. I was actually scared I'd end up with just plain black from the pair, but he is putting his color on the babies Here is a pic of him (Mommy is a black pullet) This pic is a couple months old...he is becoming more chesty and handsome Plus his back is tightening up...he and his girl are both just under 7 months old, so I expect this guy to be super super gorgeous as a mature rooster.

awww I have sad news, my baby quit probably the 20th or so, fully formed but never started absorbing the yolk sac :,( oh well try try again.

One baby almost got shrink rapped. Got him out but he is still a bit crooked but trying to live. Got a 3rd one out with out trouble. 1st chick was picking on the weak one so bad I had to remove him to the brooder.
