OH CUTE Robin! That littel fuzzie might hatch out as big as Ebony! Can't wait to see pictures of this! How many oz. is she??? You R good chicken mama!just popped a hatching faverorolle egg under ebony- micro serama, she got the funniest look on her face, listening to the little one cheeping and hatching! don't dare try to take that from her now!LOL! she has been broody twice, this time going on 6 weeks- the girl deserved a baby-and i have a silky broody and another serama- might give them each an egg too... my goodness girls!!
How old is she now? I bet she would have crowed and they would have butted chests a bit if she were a he!
Oh my goodness, that's darling.
Cute little babies!! I LOVE the silkied's! Good luck on your quest for a frizzle!Well it looks like frizzles have eluded me YET AGAIN. UGH. The only frizzles I've gotten have been boys. I did however end up with two silkied babies...which I didn't really want, haha.
Either way, I got some cute pics of the babies today! They were vaccinated this morning, so please excuse their crusty down

LOL, it's so funny how they have NO idea of their size!
larps, I dunno, $200 for two chicks, and not even a guarantee of a pair. That's how much is charged for fully proven pairs of birds from champion breeders. It seems like the lady doesn't know the worth of the chicks, and frankly, I feel it would be taking advantage of her to sell those chicks to her for such a price. Just my 2 cents, sorry kiddo. But yes, you can take the chicks away, she'll get over it pretty quickly especially if she has others to care for.i have a lady that wants to buy two serama chicks off of me for $200... only problem is the only chick i have are under a broodycan i take two chicks away from her at night so she wont be ******/ the chicks are three weeks old. either way i dont want to keep all five
Well I think everyone is done hatching. I'll leave the other eggs in the bator another few days though just in case.
I've got nine little babies from 30+ eggs, and one of the babies is from Berry.
LOL, she is giving off the funniest looks to the camera! Sweet!!! Congratulations!drum roll.....
miss ebony and jet now have an adopted baby.... and get a load of the expressions!!
...
will try to get better pics when she is more cooperative
I dunno, you can't be absolutely sure just yet. The last one is a silkie, no? and 2 others still look like they can be in for the running...?Well it looks like frizzles have eluded me YET AGAIN. UGH. The only frizzles I've gotten have been boys. I did however end up with two silkied babies...which I didn't really want, haha.
