American serama thread!

This is normal singleton chick behavior, and it is especially true for seramas. He wants his MAMA and you are it. Was he incubator hatched? If so, then i am guessing he saw human first and has bonded with humans.
I have a little carrier for my "special" serama boy and he comes with me everywhere. weather permitting he waits in the car for me and/or comes int he store with me :love
You can try putting a little stuffed animal in with him or a feather duster nd see if that helps. MAN if you were closer I would be glad to take the little shaver, I love singletons!

He was an incubator egg, (almost thrown out! I thought they had all quit!) and an assisted hatch that took place over almost 3 days! He just wasn't making progress at all hatching. I assisted little by little over the course of those days, played lots of music for him, talked, cooed and he eventually got out on his own. Then, he took forever to start walking around and fluff up. He eats, drinks, poops now, and yells... Hop, hop, peep! Hop, hop, peep...PEEP! Guess he's making up for lost time. Lol But we're having fun with him.

He and his 2 girlz come in the house every night to entertain me and sleep next to my bed.

No danger of oversleeping at your house.

I'm so glad I found this thread! I ordered some standard size hen eggs. Wanting to incubate so I can add to my flock. I ended up getting two assorted bantam eggs. they were cream with a little point at the end. Almost identically to my Mille fluer's eggs. I have no idea what breed they are. Couldn't be cuter! However,
I'm trying to narrow it down. If anyone can give me any information I'd greatly appreciate it! As I would like to learn about this breed and I love these little adorable fluff balls ! I do have two bantams in another coop. One is a Cochin and the other is a Mille Fluer D'uucle

I absolutely love both of them!
The batam egg is a bit larger then the eggs these chicks hatched out of. It is the same shape and color.
