This is normal singleton chick behavior, and it is especially true for seramas. He wants his MAMA and you are it. Was he incubator hatched? If so, then i am guessing he saw human first and has bonded with humans.
I have a little carrier for my "special" serama boy and he comes with me everywhere. weather permitting he waits in the car for me and/or comes int he store with me![]()
You can try putting a little stuffed animal in with him or a feather duster nd see if that helps. MAN if you were closer I would be glad to take the little shaver, I love singletons!
He and his 2 girlz come in the house every night to entertain me and sleep next to my bed.![]()

No, and he's always been this way. My guess is that his tail feathers were pulled out when he was a chick before we purchased him at 4 weeks old. They never grew back. The only four feathers he had just grew longer.Are there other roosters in your flock with him?
