She is beautiful. I love the color. I'm hoping my Frizzy's eggs hatch this time. Her first clutch of eggs were clear due, hopefully, to very long vent feathers. She raised a couple of Japanese bantam chicks and has started to lay again. Her nest has two eggs today; 4 more to go. Frizzy's vent feathers have been trimmed. Is Marble laying eggs yet?

no not yet, I really want some drizzled out of her and pistashio. What would you call her color? I'm calling it lite calico...

Serama have no color standards. Lite calico sounds good. I do love the color and am hoping that my next chicks will be lighter colors too. Most of mine are dark browns, rust, and black. I did have one white pullet, but a mink liked her too, but I caught the lil' crapper.

Well I hate that he got you pullet, but I love all critters. What did you do with him? Just curious...
Monks are pretty tho, to me lol! But I don't like that they like our chickens

A trip to the country far, far away and released. I have a hard time killing bugs; the mink was safe when he came in my yard. But I sure hated losing 'Nilla the pullet. My wife and I name everything.

Lol that's whatvi would have done too! Yeah I have 5 horses, 5 dogs a star y pot belly pig that I kept, a rabbit, w farm cats and a star y cat that I have tammed, and 26 chcikens!!!!! Every single one has a name and are all members of a very large family!!!!
