The last, and only, serama eggs I had shipped hatched at 55%. From what I have read that is quite good for shipped eggs; part of the success, I think, is in how they were packaged.
Each egg was wrapped separately in bubble wrap then inserted in a small plastic cup (Dixie cup) rounded end up taped in. The "egg cups" were placed in a small box surrounded in more bubble wrap; packing peanuts would do as well. That box was placed in a slightly larger box surrounded with crumpled newspaper/bubble wrap/packing peanuts.
It was a real pain unwrapping the eggs, but none were broken and only one or two had an unattached air cell.
Let me know when you can ship. I do not like to use incubators, but I always seem to have one or more hens that are broody.
Hopefully, when you are ready, we can check the long range forecast and Mother Nature will help us out.
That is a great hatch rate. Do you have a picture that shows how the egg cups were placed in the smaller box. Were the egg cups placed In an egg carton and then in the smaller box?
