Right now I live in Sweden with my fiance! I'm from New York, but he's Swedish and he's studying in university right now. In Sweden the school pays YOU while you get a higher education! So I won't be moving back to the states with him for another 2 or 3 years. Why in a few years?

So right now, I'm just learning everything I can about Seramas and chickens in general! I really can't wait to get started!
I would definitely want straight feathered, and pet quality is fine with me! I just think they're adorable, I probably won't get too fancy and want to show them or anything. They would just be my pets! I do love the roos who stand so vertical that they look like they might fall backwards.I would Even maybe Learn About standard of perfection for seramas, And Decide what kind of seramas you want, Frizzle, Silkied, Strait Feathered, or strait Malaysian

My plan for the future is I'd get a rooster and 2 hens, and maybe hatch a few chicks sometime for my personal enjoyment. I just think they're really cool little chickens. I've read that you can breed together 2 different colors and end up with pretty much any color chicks, I think that would be fun to experience, and I'd keep them as pets too. I have plenty of time to learn more about Serama!
That's a good idea. My little sister is interested in sharing any extras I get (when the time comes). I have heard that about breeding the same colors too! That is really cool, it will be so exciting to see what colors come out when I do eventually get Seramas and let them breed!Ok cool, they are a lot of fun! I would Get as good Quailty as possible, Just because you are planning on hatching, That way you will be able to Get rid of any extras a lot Easier. Not only can you breed two Different colored birds and get different color chicks, you can Breed two of the same color and get a different color!

I've heard shipped Serama eggs are really hard to hatch, but I just saw today that mypetchicken.com started offering Serama eggs this year in straight and frizzle varieties! I hope someone orders and hatches some eggs from them so we can see the quality!
Quote from their Serama hatching eggs page:
"Most of our Seramas are B-Class and we are working hard to breed for a correct, upright bird. There's about a 25% chance you'll get a Frizzled Serama out of your hatch, and a 10% you'll get a Silkied Serama! The remaining 65% will be normal Seramas. All of our Serama eggs are a creamy color. "
