American serama thread!

Thank you, that's what I was afraid of so I didn't trim to much just evened them out. I did trim her toe nails also b/c they were very long and I got the quick on one toe but was able to quickly get the bleedingbto stop. Poor girl. But she loves her new food! Scrambled egg, start and grow, parsley, thyme, dill weed, cinnamon and little vinegar in her water!

With the better diet I bet you'll see an improvement in her appearance and general condition.

With that bright red face, wattles, and comb consider upping her calcium intake in case she is laying eggs. She rather looks like she needs all the help you can give her.

for increasing her calcium should I just offer her sister shells? Or is there another way to increase calcium?

I have to ask about the serama in your avatar picture! It's so pretty! Almost doesn't look real, like a beautiful little statue. I need to know about her! I'm assuming it's a hen because of the tail.
