American serama thread!

For those that have Tribbles, at what age can sex be determined accurately? Mine are now close to 8 weeks old. The comb on one is a bit larger, but not enough to say conclusively that it is a rooster. If it were of my own stock I would say pullet.

I certainly am having no luck in getting replies.

Has anyone had any luck getting micro serama to breed? I've a young pullet that I'm quite sure will be a micro when she matures.

WHY!?!??! do you want to try breeding micros in the first place???? Seramas have enough troubles being fertile at the normal size or having egg laying problems etc etc etc.... :/

I am having no more egg laying problems with my A class birds than with the larger breeds. And yes, fertility is lower, but that does not endanger the bird. Presently I am trying methods to increase fertility; nutritionally and by crossing different lines.
