American serama thread!

Welcome from So CAl! We are planning an all serama show but it will be here in the Southern California area. There are a few serama owners up your way with nice birds, however, and I believe there is a poultry show in January in Fresno or Bakersfield area. I can keep you posted regarding where our show will be and will be posting on all serama threads once a location has been inked. Any help or info you need, please don't hesitate to ask. Have you joined the Golden State Serama Council? This is our club for the state of California.

Hey Carla! That is great! 10 out of 16

If you got eggs from Napoleon, probably a very good chance. He and Fawn threw 3 frizzles out of 4. You will be the first with babies from Amadeus if his hatch. I haven't even hatched eggs from him yet

though I do have 4 to go in this week. And yep, just got two eggs from that pen. Not sure which 2 out of the 3 hens (all are from Juliette - I have a silkied, a frizzle and a silkied frizzle) laid them but I'm excited!

I'm putting them in the incubator too. I will probably have quite a few from this pen in the fall for you (I'm booked out till the end of September on eggs already

). You are first on the list to get from this pen though so the next batch is yours - Memphis, you're next!!

So I went to a swap today and sold all the chickens I brought but my serama...because everyone was like...what is a serama?? I keep forgetting how many people still don't know what seramas are! I just figure people are familiar with them. So I came home with my serama chick.
