Thanks. I planned on buying a Genesis 1588 this payday anyway, so had figured I could use this one as a hatcher??? I have NO idea WHAT I'm doing anyway LOL. I do have some silver laced wyandottes that I can practice on and will be getting some White leghorns next week. I really do want to hatch some of those, and then of course mainly Seramas!!!

I use my LG's for hatching. Up to day 18 I use my Genesis 1588's but then its off to the LG. No problems!

I know im gonna get it. But my bator is the best one. I have a genesis But i have better hatch rates with my bator. I use a vicks hydrometer.

Another question...............will one of those small LED flashlights work as well to candle eggs as one specifically for candling? They look the same pretty much...

Yes. I turn off all of the lights when i do and you can see everything
