American serama thread!

You're very busy!! My 2 girls are being very stingy with their eggs also and I have been saving them and dating them but thought I would stop incubating and just wait until I had some new birds to breed , but it kills me to dump them......especially since they are not laying frequently.
I've got 11 in the bator due to hatch tomorrow and some are rocking and rolling today so i hope they will all be hatch and be OK. It is so hard not to load up the bator again with the eggs I've saved up!!

We'll work it out. There really are not a lot of Serama breeders around here........only one that I know of and have not seen his birds as of yet. Said he'd have some ready in the fall. Can't swap or trade or talk directly to any Serama people here. This will have to do. I guess Jerry S. is closer to me than you. That's a plus!

Chicklette 1, there is one person in your area you can talk to with vast knowlege on serama, her name is Jesse (BluegrassSeramas is her screen name on byc) and she lives in Central Kentucky. As I recalled, she and her partner were the few created the frizzled serama back in the days. She is busy with school that is why we don't see her much on here, I have learned alot from her when I first started out.

Thanks for the information. I do believe I spoke with her before I had any Seramas and was kind of researching the breed and yes, she was busy with school and Ithink they were building a new coop. I'll try to contact her again. She was very close to my area.
