I've already started preparing for winter. The past winter was awful here so my son and I cleaned the garage and I'll have some cages for them for their winter home. They lived there last winter and did great, even laying like crazy. They all stopped laying and have been moulting so I wormed them all and treated for mites. They're getting a break from laying so I figured a bit of maintenance was in order. I'll clean the outside cages and have them ready for spring. I plan to leave them out as long as it doesn't freeze. They have weathered a lot worse.
