He is 4 months old. He was about a 2 months old when I put him in with the other roo who is only a month older. He's half silkie so they were about the same size at the time. The other Roo pretty much excepted him, I think he'd bite him though to put him in his place every now and then, maybe that's where he got it. Ashe the one who bites will try to act big and tough with the other birds until the stand up to him then he runs away. He's pretty submissive if they stand up to him. But right now he's alone, because he's started crowing (which would tick off the dominate male) and bullying the females. He's really rought with them, because they are more submissive than him. So right now he's alone.

That's why?! My god I feel bad for those hens, I have bruises and welts from him doing that. But I'm not so sure, his feathers around his head go up when I put my hand by his pen, he'll even bite me through the bars if he can. He comes flying out when ever my hand goes down. I'd try putting and older hen with him, but mine are all relatively young and run away from him, it looks like he's attacking them he's so rough with them. So maybe that is it....darn hormones. I'll definitely keep working with him if that is indeed the case. I'll try getting him some treats and continue to feed him from my hands when possible.

Also all my females are Seramas so they are all very much smaller than him. I weighed him a couple weeks ago and he was 23oz. Mine are 16 oz and lower.
