Keep us posted on the hatch.(you just posted pics) How are you doing now? How are your birds? Anymore issues?? Have you heard back from the vet on what happened? I sure hope this is a great year for us all and things look up!

Well, this hatch has been a definite pick-me-up and so far no more issues. I will phone my vet tomorrow about results. I have another hatch to look forward to on the 12th with 7 eggs and I do have 6 more eggs ready but we sold our home in IL. and I will have to go there to move everything out so I have to check the timing. I've learned that the secret of fertility is the smaller cage rather than the big coop and pen.

I think you all put to much stress on my red girl from wanting her. I went out this am to feed and she looked weird so I picked her up and she has a real nasty prolapsed vent. I dont think I can fix it but have soaked her in warm water with salt and she is cuddled up now. Its bloody and hanging out quit a ways. I might put her down but will watch her until I know more. Gurrr- Well at least I have a few babies from her.
