They turned out better than I expected.

looks like i will have 4 out of 5 hatching sometime this week, since i couldn't date when they first began sitting on them- so these girls should be ok raising them together?

Here's some new pics of some birds I just received from Jerry in the last few days. They are beautiful, and have great personalities. I gave them their first bath today., trimmed their nails, and gave them a full spa experience. Massaged lotion in their combs and legs, brushed out all the feather sheaths, the works.

The first little cockerel is "Gator" in reference to his swamp heritage

, he's a little guy 13 oz, that loves to cuddle and post (well at least type) on BYC. We're still working on his pose, so here's just a pic of him sunbathing in the CA sunshine today. He looks pretty stressed from his cross country travels, don't ya think?

And here is Doc Holliday, he's tall, dark and handsome, with some silver *bling* in his feathering. He just reminded me of one of those handsome cowboys from the movies. He's not well posed in this pic, but considering he just put up with a bath, and was mad at me still.... you should see him when he stands vertically.. he has one heluva tail!

I don't have a name for the sweet little pullet, still working on that one. Suggestions accepted.
