American serama thread!

My silkied rooster, Malik.

I just go my first seramas! They are from June, who is very nice & helpful. It was my first time getting shipped birds-and seramas- so I really appreciated her patience with all my questions. The hen, Miriam, just layed an egg yolk! There's some wet, mushy bedding that, I guess, is the white. I can't wait for her to lay more eggs (with shells) so I can put them in the 'bator!!! She's sleeping right now, but when she's awake I'll get some photos. She's a real sweety! The roo is a cuddlebug, too.

Your fella looks great!

Hello!
I'm new to Seramas!

I got these two in a trade, and was told they are Seramas..but I am not certain..I'm thinking maybe Old English or mixes.
Any thoughts?

And this is a SQ Serama chick I hatched yesterday that I got from a breeder. It could be Silkied, Frizzled, or just beautiful :) It apparently
hatched earlier than the other eggs..as I'm still waiting on them! Hatched under my broody OEGB.
Any guesses on color?

Well, I am NO expert of seramas so I am not help on the adults....but the baby could turn out to be any color, with seramas you never know what you will get, part of the fun of having them...enjioy! :love

That makes me curious- do you guys have pics of your chicks and then pics of that same bird grown? just curious what variety of colors at hatching are likely to become which colors when grown. Seeing that little chick made me think of identifying my own

I have some little peepers that are only a week old and I'm itching to know what I have. :)
