Thank you! Those are some cute spoiled birdies!![]()
Thanks. My for sure roo's comb popped right out at a few weeks, lol. One of the younger one's might still possibly be a roo, but I think I ended up with one boy and 4 girls.Gorgeous youngens, JulieNKC! Can't wait until mine are old enough to tell who is a girl and who is a boy! LOL

My d'uccles and japanese are still trying to sleep out in the run and on top of their coop instead of inside, and it's supposed to be in the 20's here too. I've been picking them all up and putting them in the coop, but I'm about to wrap the sides in plastic and give up, lol. I would love to move south, I hate breaking ice for the ducks all winter.I just love pics of the young birds, I especially like when people post pictures so you can see how they changed from a month old to full grown.
I put my 2 chicks out in the brooder in the shop tonight. I have it as warm as I can possibly make it for them, and they seem to be enjoying it... running around investigating things. I also covered the front of the adult bird's cages with plastic so maybe their body heat will keep them a little warmer. The low is 28 tonight, going by the forecast tonight will be the coldest night of the week. I'm so not ready for when winter really sets in. I've been trying to talk my husband into moving south and he wants to move north.. so we are at a stand still in the middle lol.
