So I've got 3 of the Americana Easter Eggers and I had a question regarding their leg colors. Two of them have that slate blue/greenish color, while the other has orange legs. What does this mean? Any indication of egg laying color? They turn two weeks old tomorrow. The orange legged one is slightly darker feather wise than the other two, not sure if that makes a different. I know this is more of a mutt chick.

Easter Eggers are mixed breeds, therefore there is no standard on leg colors, muffs or beards. I have an Easter Egger with a clean face and yellow legs and she lays green eggs. They are like “a box of chocolates.....you never know what you’re gonna get!”

Best wishes and have lots of fun! I hope your ladies lay you colorful eggs!

Agreed. Easter Eggers can have any color of legs. Though willow/green/slate are the most common.
