I hope you get snow. I'd be happy for you and your dogs.
We here are back to sloppy gutter and no snow. Even the little bit of frost has come out of the ground.
Geez! I had just finished moving the dogs again.

Me too. Whenever I check the weather, it changes from snow to rain and back to snow. I'm not sure what will happen at this point

It's been non-stop rain for the past few weeks.

Aw. That sucks eh
But if I recall correctly I have used a word often regarding training dogs.
Perseverance
If I may be so bold, I think you gave you a break. These dogs have too much energy for us.:D
Back at'er baby.........:D:D
You'll do fine
They'll forgive you:):)

The last 2 weeks were for me yes lol I dislocated my shoulder and set it on a nerve. Back at it tho. I'd be Extreamly happy if mom would let me get a trained lead dog tho

I feel that would help out so much! Ugh idk but I'm finally getting around to buying Gang lines. My cousin who got Hanks brother may be dropping him off on the weekends for some training. 3 dog team maybe?
We're getting there I think

Hopefully things will start going smoother for you, Rose. I understand how frustrating it is when things aren't working in your favor or dogs aren't listening. Just today I went out with my neighbor and one of the scooters got a flat tire and the dogs didn't want to listen to direction commands. How is your shoulder doing?

It's as good as it's going to get. Swellings down and off the nerve. Still tingles every now and then but doesn't turn purple.
I'm taking the dogs out again tomorrow. Hopefully it's a better run for them. It might help if I didn't run them by the house? Nala always wants to turn into the drive way when passing, her on By is getting good lol

If by the house you mean like running where they can easily see the house, then yes. Try running somewhere where the dogs can't see the house. My girls will almost always turn into the drive way when we are close to the house. Changing up your trail is not only good for the dogs mentally, but it's good for the musher too. The dogs have to focus on listening to you more rather than just memorizing the patter you run it. The musher has to be more attentive to the dogs and the surrounding area.

I finally got a new tire for the 3whelled rig. Well not 'new' but it holds air. Everything is back on the rig and it's finally ready to roll and guess what....its snowing now. :barnie
Oh well. what you gona do eh. It's actually kinda funny when I stop and think about it. ......but not really.
I'm gonna go out with the rig anyways. Try it out with 3 wheels that are actually pumped up.:gig
I think 5 dogs is in order for the day.
I'm kind of excited.
But first I'm going to have a "Mooshoom(grandfather)nap".

Blue, your insight and wisdom is always a source of my hopes for better future of this world. There are things I would like to share with you but I don't put that on-line. That's not the way to share them.
Geez, even my own children don't exude what I see in you and they've been exposed to so many teachings since even before they were born.
I can only guess that since it was with them from day1, and even before, it doesn't really mean anything to them.......yet..... Interject here with HOPE.

TTFN y'all

Thank you, Rez. Hearing something like that coming from someone like you really touches me. I'm very blessed with how my folks decided to raise me and all credit really goes to them. They are the ones that supported me all the way with mushing and willing drove me to snowmobile tracks at the early hours of morning so I could continue my dream, although, looking back, it seemed rather unrealistic at the time. I owe a lot to them.

My turn to blush. Plus "someone like you"..... I don't know what you mean but I'll take it as a compliment. :pThank you.:)
I am envious re: your parents. I did everything on my own except when I was doing someone else's bidding.

I try to be a good supportive dad but it seems my kids are not appreciative.
But in reality none of that is not important. I am blessed to be alive and reasonably healthy in my mind, my body and my spirit.

I need to add that I think(& feel) you should not sell yourself short. Give yourself credit for being conciouse of your blessings.
